Praised as a musician of "compelling artistry and power" by the Seattle Times, the gifted American pianist Julio Elizalde is a multi-faceted artist who enjoys a versatile career as soloist, chamber musician, artistic administrator, educator, and curator. He has performed in many of the major music centers throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America to popular and critical acclaim. Since 2014, he has served as the Artistic Director of the Olympic Music Festival near Seattle, Washington.

Praised as “ideally eloquent” by the Los Angeles Times, cellist Eric Byers captivates audiences as a soloist, chamber musician, and composer. At 18, he made his solo debut with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. In 2018 he debuted with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a last minute substitution. His performance of the third movement of B.A. Zimmerman's Cello Concerto was lauded as “rapturously played” and “utterly convincing” by the Los Angeles Times. His solo repertoire spans J.S. Bach to today’s most innovative composers including Esa-Pekka Salonen, Thomas Adès, Andrew Norman, Caroline Shaw, and Peter Eötvös. Byers’ performed Kaija Saariaho’s ‘Sept Papillon’ for solo cello with ‘ethereal wonder’ (LA Times) at Disney Hall. His performance of Adès’ ‘Lieux retrouvés’ with pianist Gloria Cheng was described as ‘magnificent’ and ‘masterful’ (Culture Spot LA).

Rohan De Silva’s partnerships with violin virtuosos Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Cho-Liang Lin, Midori, Joshua Bell, Benny Kim, Kyoko Takezawa, Vadim Repin, Gil Shaham, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Julian Rachlin, James Ehnes and Rodney Friend have led to highly acclaimed performances at recital venues all over the world.

Dividing her time among chamber, solo, orchestral and recording projects, Tereza has been hailed for her “expressive beauty and wonderful intensity” (Robert Mann) of her playing, her “sure technique and musical intelligence” (Calgary Herald), and “ her sweet tone, brilliant phrasing, uncannily pointed rhythm and pure intonation (even at the violin’s highest and lowest extremities)” (Huffington Post).

Violinist Rafael Rishik was born in New York City and started the violin at age 4. At age six he was one of the youngest students ever accepted to the Juilliard School of Music. During the next 12 years of study in New York, Mr. Rishik also attended the famed Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art.

Robert Brophy can be seen and heard playing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera and many West Coast chamber music series.

Andrew Shulman, principal cello with LACO and faculty at USC, was the first British winner of the Piatigorsky Award and was made an Honorary RCM by The Queen Mother.
